In the blink of an eye 2007 has come and has almost gone. During the Christmas and New Year season MANY, MANY, MANY beautiful young ladies get engaged. January starts off the heavy vendor shopping season. The best vendors typically book out first and sometimes a year and a half in advance. Before setting your wedding date, make sure that the venue you would like both your wedding and reception in are available!!! Some wedding dates are chosen specifically due to location availability. Next, you will need to find a good photographer. There are more photographers in Indy than Churches I believe. The prices and quality will vary , sometimes dramatically between photographers. Make sure that you look at their work, ask about turn around time and book as fast as you can if you like them. They can only shoot one wedding a day and once they are booked.... you will have to choose another one. Try to keep all of your planning in perspective: if you are not having fun and you are worrying about details of little to no value.... refocus. The goal of the day is to get married...... the rest in the end is quite nice, but in all honesty fluff! No one knows the details that you have planned and the day will most likely be a blur to you as well. On the honeymoon note: make sure that you have your PASSPORTS ordered or readily available if you choose to travel out of the country. Fall weddings are very popular, but it is also hurricane season in the Caribbean. At Indybride.net we will be adding many new vendors to our site to offer you a diverse mix of talent to choose from. I hope we can serve you well and please let us know any way that we can assist you in the coming year!
Happy December!
